Jodie Comer was brought up not far from where I lived. I saw her read a monolgue, when she was a child at a local festival. The reading was about the Hillsborough Disaster, she was brilliant, it was so moving. I have followed her career ever since and its great to see her talent recognised.
Loved her in 'Killing Eve' and when she portraited the care workers in 'Help' the Covid 19 story. It was a privilage to draw and paint this lovely, talented actress.
This is just one of my two talented Liverpool people portraits done so far. The other is Stephen Graham. If people like them I will do more. I am open to ideas on this one.
