Behind our Anglican Cathedral is one of my most favourite places in Liverpool, Hope Street and the fabulous Gambier Terrace. The terrace is a row of beautiful Georgian houses overlooking St. James's Mount and Gardens. I dreamed of living here as a girl, and even more so when I found out John Lennon shared a flat at number 3 when attending the Liverpool College of Art.
I saw the beautiful red poppies in the front garden of a house there first and then realised the amazing view behind them - couldn't resist it!
This is just one of my Liverpool landmark paintings. Visit my gallery to see the whole collection. and discover how each piece beautfully complements the cities enduring spirit.
